Third-year students of Department of Biomedical Engineering, JUST had the privilege of visiting the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Jashore on 20th November, 2024. Dr. Hassan M. Al-Emran (Chairman and Associate Professor) and Anika Anjum (Lecturer and 3rd year advisor) accompanied their visit.

During the visit, Asraful Alam (Scientific Officer, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission), Dr. Tuba Zannat (Medical Officer, INMAS) and provided in-depth explanations of advanced medical technologies, including the Mediso AnyScan® TRIO SPECT/CT TheraMAX, Advia Centaur XPT Immunoassay Analyser, iFlash 1200 Chemiluminescence ,Immunoassay Analyser and more. The use of isotopes like Technetium and Iodine in radiology imaging was also thoroughly explained, enhancing student's practical understanding of nuclear medicine. This visit will enrich students knowledge on the different aspects of medical-imaging. .
