The Biomedical Engineering Department hosted its Freshers' Reception on January 21, 2025, to warmly welcome the newest batch of students. The event was a lively and inspiring celebration, fostering a sense of unity and enthusiasm among students and faculty alike.  

The program commenced with an inaugural speech by the Chairman, Dr. Hassan Al Emran, who extended a heartfelt welcome to the freshers. He emphasized the importance of Biomedical Engineering in addressing global healthcare challenges and encouraged students to embrace the opportunities for innovation and growth within the department.  

Following the Chairman’s remarks, the audience had the privilege of listening to our honorable teachers. Sk. Faizus Sadekin Sir spoke about the department’s commitment to academic excellence and research. Farzana Khanom Ma’am encouraged the students to be inquisitive and resilient as they navigate their academic journey. Anika Ma’am highlighted the importance of collaboration and extracurricular engagement, while Faisal Mina Sir inspired students with words on the transformative potential of Biomedical Engineering. Each speech was filled with wisdom and motivation, leaving a profound impact on the freshers.  

Senior students also took the stage to share their experiences and offer advice. They recounted their own journeys, the challenges they faced, and the rewarding moments that made it all worthwhile. Their speeches were both relatable and inspiring, providing the freshers with practical guidance and encouragement.  

In a heartfelt segment, some of the freshers themselves shared their feelings about stepping into this new phase of life. They expressed excitement, gratitude, and a bit of nervousness, but all were eager to contribute and grow within the department. Their words reflected a shared sense of optimism and determination.  

The program also featured a delightful cultural segment, with music and performances that showcased the talents of students. This part of the event added a lively and celebratory atmosphere, creating lasting memories for everyone present.  

The Freshers' Reception concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of the organizing committee, faculty, and students who made the event a success.
